Liz Costagliola and Chamaine Lovett were friends after working together in the NHS but when Liz was a Health Visitor and Chamaine was in a clinical role they felt there was a need for an Online Health Visiting Service. In addition to my role as Co Founder/Director at Health Visitor Direct, I continue to work as a Health Visitor within the NHS. I started my nurse training in 1991 and it was during this time that I discovered Heath Visiting. In 1995 I qualified as a Health Visitor and am often asked about when to wean babies, foods to offer and problems with fussy eating. I am mum to Heather, Jacob and Lucia and therefore am well aware of the demands of being a working mum. Nutrition is a particular interest of mine and I enjoy supporting parents with the weaning process. I love cooking and try to involve all my children in choosing recipes and cooking meals.
