Tip top hummus  

What ingredients
you'll need

  • 5oz tin of organic chickpeas (soaked in water not brine)
  • ½ organic onion, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp organic olive oil
  • 1 organic garlic clove
  • Dash of organic lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Ella’s Kitchen Stage 1 organic baby food puree – a veg filled one

Serves 2 - 3 baby food portions

What you'll need to do

  1. Heat the olive oil in the frying pan and slowly cook the finely chopped onion and crushed garlic
  2. Add drained chickpeas and lemon juice to the onion mix
  3. Using a hand blender, combine the ingredients until smooth
  4. Add a tbsp of Ella’s Kitchen Stage 1 organic baby food puree to add a delicious creamy vegetable flavour
  5. Serve this yummy dip with Ella’s Kitchen organic 'stacks of sticks' - Wholegrain flavour

Any leftover vegetable puree can be added to the family Spaghetti Bolognaise or Shepherd’s Pie to create a really delicious and nutritional gravy.
