Your little one may have been enjoying a variety of foods for a while now and at some point you’ll have to feed them whilst out and about. But don’t worry, with our top tips from infant nutritionist Claire feeding your little foodie will be a breeze!
If you’re out for the day, maybe at the zoo, the beach or the park, rather than relying on cafes and restaurants, which might not have the best options for your little one, give some of our suggestions a go!
Reduce the big day panic packing and get everything ready the night before if you can. Prep food into Tupperware ready to grab and go, pop some ice blocks in the freezer to keep everything nice and cool, put some water in the fridge so you have cold drinks ready to go, get your cool bag out, and pack your day bag with everything you need for a picnic.
Try to offer balanced meals when out and about so your little one gets a mix of the different food groups. Try to pick foods from each section for the pear-fect balance!
Get inspired with our easy foodie ideas to take on your big day out. Don’t forget you can always take your baby’s usual meals out and about if you can keep them safe and cool but bear in mind you might not be able to heat them up.
Now you’re ready to head out and about, enjoy making memories with your little one and sharing plenty of yummy moments along the way!
