Ella’s Kitchen and the RSPB team up to inspire the next generation of little nature lovers with FREE interactive map and activities
- 22nd April 2025 -
Ella’s Kitchen – the UK’s leading baby food brand – has teamed up with the UK’s largest wildlife conservation charity, the RSPB, to create a brand-new interactive map designed to inspire families to connect with nature and discover the incredible birds, bees and bugs that call the UK’s meadows, grasslands and woodlands home.
Launching on Earth Day, 22nd April, and available on the Ella’s Kitchen website, the free interactive map features 10 fascinating bees, birds and bugs commonly found in UK habitats for little ones to discover and learn about.
Parents, carers and family members can explore interesting facts about each creature with their little ones, while enjoying nature-inspired activities that spark curiosity and play. With downloadable activity sheets and printable colouring pages, the adventure continues beyond the map, and into the great outdoors.

“We’re incredibly proud of our longstanding partnership with RSPB, and this new initiative is a natural extension of our shared vision to champion and inspire a love of nature in little ones.
“At Ella’s Kitchen, we believe every little one deserves to grow up on a healthy planet that has plenty of food and is buzzing with life. We know that the more time little ones spend connecting with nature, the more likely they are to grow up loving it – and wanting to protect it. Through the map and activities, we hope to encourage more little ones and their families to get outside, explore the wonders of nature and spark a love for the environment.
“This is a fantastic way to continue building on our joint Ella's Kitchen x RSPB ‘30 by 30’ pledge – which is seeing us work together to restore 30 million square feet of wildflower meadows across the UK by 2030, protecting the habitats of the birds, bees and bugs that live there, ensuring they’ll be around for little ones to learn about and enjoy for generations to come.”

“A thriving natural world is only possible if people feel connected to and understand nature. This new initiative offers an accessible and engaging way for children and families to connect, champion and take action for nature. Many of the activities naturally lead into the RSPB’s Wild Challenge, providing families with an additional opportunity to deepen their engagement with nature and be recognised for their efforts.
“We’re so pleased to continue growing our long-term partnership with Ella’s Kitchen, which sees us working together to protect and restore spaces that are vital for nature and inspiring others to do the same”.

Director of Global Conservation at the RSPB
