all-in-one smoothie bowl

This super smoothie bowl is just what you want on a hot summers day.
Defrost your cherries overnight, or use partly defrosted for a cooool bowl.

Ingredients


- 150g frozen dark pitted cherries, defrosted or semi-defrosted
- 1 small banana, peeled and halved
- 1 small cooked beetroot (not in vinegar), quartered
- 4 tablespoons natural greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground mixed seeds
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Lightly toasted buttered fruit buns or bread, cut into fingers, to serve
Method


- Place all the ingredients, except the fruit buns or bread, in a food processor or blender and puree until thick, smooth and creamy
- Pour or spoon the smoothie into bowls and serve with fingers of lightly toasted fruit bun or bread

Use 40g frozen chopped spinach, defrosted, in place of the beetroot and cherries, and replace the small banana with a large banana
