Easy Peas-y Pea Puree
Peas are a perfect veggie first taste to help grow a Little Veg Lover for life!
- 150 g/5½ oz frozen peas
- Steam or boil the peas in a saucepan over a medium heat for 10–12 minutes until completely tender.
- Puree the peas with 3–4 tablespoons of boiled water in a food processor, or using a hand blender, until completely smooth.
- Pass the puree through a sieve to remove any pieces of skin, if necessary.
Swap this for that
You can thin all purees using your baby’s usual milk if you prefer!
You could use a thicker version as a dip for veggie sticks for older babies.
