Green Beans + Peas Puree
- 100 g/3½ oz green beans, trimmed + halved
- 100 g/3½ oz frozen peas
- Steam or boil the beans in a saucepan over a medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the peas + cook for a further 2–3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Purée the vegetables with 100 ml/ 3½ fl oz boiled water in a food processor, or using a hand blender, until the peas are completely broken down + the mixture is smooth.
- For a smoother purée, pass it through a sieve after blending.
Swap This For That
Try adding your baby's usual milk instead of water to the puree to add super nutrients.
Fun For Little Ones
Try making the puree a little thicker + use it as a spread or dip with bread or cooked veg fingers for older little ones.
